How the prices here work

Every price comes with its source. Official prices are taken from the operator's own website or announcement; prices marked reported come from 2026 travel guides that agree with each other, and are worth confirming at the desk. A place appears once we have a 2026 price for it; others are added as soon as they are confirmed.

Enter the ages of everyone in your group and whether you are Georgian citizens or residents: each place shows what your group pays, using the cheapest ticket each person qualifies for. Student, pupil and pensioner discounts need a card, so they are listed on each page but not assumed.

Plan a day

The caves and canyons around Kutaisi — Prometheus, Sataplia, Navenakhevi, Okatse and Martvili — are usually visited in one or two days from Kutaisi. Uplistsikhe and the Stalin Museum make an easy half day from Tbilisi via Gori, and Vardzia and Rabati go together on the road through Borjomi and Akhaltsikhe. Frequently asked questions

Do foreigners pay more at Georgian attractions?

Often, yes. The Agency of Protected Areas, which runs Prometheus Cave, Martvili, Okatse and Sataplia, charges foreign visitors more than Georgian citizens and residents, and so do the National Museum, Rabati and several others. Tick "Georgian citizens or residents" above to see the resident prices.

Did entrance fees go up in 2026?

Yes. From 1 April 2026 the Agency of Protected Areas raised prices for foreign visitors — Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon to 40 GEL, Okatse Canyon and Sataplia to 30 GEL — and for Georgian residents to 15–16 GEL. Navenakhevi Cave stayed the same.

Do children pay?

Children under 6 enter free almost everywhere. At the protected areas minors aged 6 to 17 pay 5.50 GEL; museums usually have their own pupil prices.

Can I pay by card?

Card payment works at the big sites such as Prometheus Cave, the National Museum and the cable cars. Carry some lari in cash for smaller museums and for extras such as boat rides.

Which sights are free?

Most churches and monasteries, Gori and Ananuri fortresses, Narikala and the Old Town in Tbilisi, and Mtatsminda Park are free. Kobuleti's protected areas charge only for equipment.
