How to use the Georgian keyboard
Click in the text box and type on your normal keyboard: each Latin key produces a Georgian letter. gamarjoba comes out as გამარჯობა. On a phone or tablet, tap the keys on screen instead. When you are done, press Copy and paste the text into a message, document or search box.
The keyboard follows the standard Georgian layout, the same one built into Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. Most letters sit on the Latin key with the closest sound. Seven letters need Shift:
| Key | Letter | Key | Letter |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shift + T | თ | Shift + C | ჩ |
| Shift + R | ღ | Shift + Z | ძ |
| Shift + S | შ | Shift + W | ჭ |
| Shift + J | ჟ |

- macOS: System Settings → Keyboard → Input Sources → Edit → + → Georgian. Switch with Control + Space or the menu bar.
- Android (Gboard): Settings → Languages → Add keyboard → Georgian (ქართული).
